The Pond

The day begins and the sky descents on earth..

it rests beneath the serene water of a pond..

small that it is to hold the mighty sky

the pond holds it with grace, ease & love...

opening all its heart for the sky..

As the day turns into the night..

the skies return back to their heavenly adobe

when moon arrives on the sky.

and the stars twinkle & shine at night..

the pond welcomes the moon, & the stars

although the stars are placed at impossible height..

this distance does not hold back the love

between the pond & the sky/moon/stars

nothing matters really..not the distance, nor the size.

all that seems unbecoming, unreal & impossible..

becomes real, possible on simplest terms of abundant love..

A Heart that's free from hatred, judgment & doubt

A Heart that's compassionate, caring & Kind..

can hold the Entire Universe on its palm

O Divine Mother..May our minds be pure in thoughts,

free from hatred, worry, judgment & doubt

May our Heart be our Guiding Compass

and be serene, loving & abundant like this pond.

I had some loose strings of beautiful thoughts.. I thought what if I could weave these thoughts to make a poem..

Funny you know..there is something divine..beyond human element..it gets communicated with us humans..and is understood..perfectly well..but sometimes when its touched by human understanding..its ceases to be celestial and divine..and becomes human.. I have this feeling many times about my poems..when I feel them in wordless motion of wind that passes by me..it is beautiful and sacred..but when I touch it with my consciousness..I fear that it becomes ordinary ceasing beneath the boundries of minds imagination.
